Entry Requirements: There are no formal academic requirements for this course. It is aimed at individuals working in, or preparing to take on, site management responsibilities within the construction and civil engineering industries. Delegates should have experience of working on site and a basic understanding of construction processes.

Where is it Recognised?
This qualification is accredited by CITB and is widely recognised across the UK construction and civil engineering sectors. It is a standard requirement for many site management roles.
Assessment / Examination
The course is delivered through interactive classroom sessions, group discussions and practical exercises. Delegates will complete activities relating to risk assessments, method statements and construction phase planning.
At the end of the five days, candidates must successfully complete a CITB multiple-choice examination to achieve the qualification.
Certification
Successful delegates will receive a CITB certificate, valid for five years. To maintain certification, a refresher course must be completed before the expiry date. If the certificate expires, the full five-day course must be retaken.
