This supervisor course is designed to give construction site supervisors an understanding of their roles and responsibilities within Health and Safety to ensure a safe site. All delegates must complete the CSR Four-Day Site Supervisors course and a CITB Health, Safety & Environmental Touch Screen Test for supervisors.*

CITB NI GRANTS: This course is CITB approved for grant aid to levy payers.

About:

This supervisor course is designed to give construction site supervisors an understanding of their roles and responsibilities within Health and Safety to ensure a safe site. All delegates must complete the CSR Four-Day Site Supervisors course and a CITB Health, Safety & Environmental Touch Screen Test for supervisors.*

Delegates are required to hold or are working towards an NVQ Level 3 or Level 4 in Construction Site Supervision.

PLEASE NOTE: For those delegates who are experienced but do not hold an NVQ Level 3 or Level 4 in Construction Site Supervision, they will be issued an Experienced Supervisor Card (RED), on the grounds that they meet the following criteria, which can be found here.

*Delegates must contact our office prior to the course to check if they require the CITB Health, Safety & Environmental Touch Screen Test for supervisors, which is a 50-minute computer-based test, essential for successful completion of this course.

Where is it recognised?

Northern Ireland: CSR is the recognised and accepted training scheme in Northern Ireland, therefore it is accepted NI wide.

Great Britain: CSR is affiliated to the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) in Great Britain and is accepted as equivalent to CSCS. The only exception to this rule is the White Health & Safety Trained card – this is not accepted in GB.

Republic of Ireland: The CSR health and safety training is equivalent to the health and safety element of the SOLAS Safe Pass Card in the Republic of Ireland.

Assessment/Examination:

CITB Health, Safety & Environmental Touch Screen Test for supervisors, which is a 50-minute computer-based test.

Certification:

Upon completion of the training, the delegates will be registered with the Construction Federation and will obtain a CSR Gold Supervisor card.
