CSR One Day Site Supervisors Refresher, Monday 9th December , Omagh

Entry requirements: 16+, completed the CSR four-day Site Supervisors Course and is within 6 months of their previous card expiry*, holds an NVQ Level 3 or Level 4 in Construction Site Supervision*.

About: This course is to refresh Site Supervisors understanding of their roles and responsibilities within Health and Safety to ensure a safe site. It is a refresher course for anyone who has completed the CSR Four-day Site Supervisors Course, and their CSR Gold Site Supervisors Card is within 6 months of their previous card expiry.

*It is also required that all delegates must complete a CITB Health, Safety & Environmental Touch Screen Test for Supervisors. If you have completed a CITB Health, Safety & Environmental Touch Screen Test and it is within 2 years of your renewal date, you are not required to complete the Touch Screen Test again. Please note that the One Day Site Supervisors Refresher course and Supervisor Touch Screen Test must be completed within 6 months of the card expiry date.

*Applicants are required to hold or be working towards an NVQ Level 3 or Level 4 in Construction Site Supervision to be issued a card for the full 4 years. If a delegate does not hold an NVQ Level 3 or Level 4 in Construction Site Supervision, they will only be issued a card with an expiry date of DECEMBER 2024. However, to be issued a card for the full 4 years, guidance has been put in place which can be found here.

Where is it recognised?

Northern Ireland: CSR is the recognised and accepted training scheme in Northern Ireland, therefore it is accepted NI wide.

Great Britain: CSR is affiliated to the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) in Great Britain and is accepted as equivalent to CSCS. The only exception to this rule is the White Health & Safety Trained card – this is not accepted in GB.

Republic of Ireland: The CSR health and safety training is equivalent to the health and safety element of the SOLAS Safe Pass Card in the Republic of Ireland.

Certification: Upon completion of the training, the delegates will be registered with the Construction Federation and will obtain a CSR Gold Supervisor card.
