About:

This course is very much focused on helping delegates to understand what they need to know, and how they can benefit from working in a healthier and safer way. The course provides workers with the knowledge that they will be able to use in their day-to-day roles. The course can be customised to suit either a cohort of workers from a single company or construction workers from a range of organisations.

Who should attend?

Anyone who works on or around a construction site or has cause to visit the site in the course of their work.
Remember, it is your responsibility to provide your staff with the training to ensure your site is fully compliant with safety, health and environmental regulations.

What will I learn?

Delegates will understand the importance of:

  • site safety
  • recognising and managing health risks and high risk activities
  • dealing with incidents
  • the wider environment

As well as learning to keep themselves safe, delegates will be taught how to spot common hazards and improve safety performance across the site. Safety, Health and Environment
for Construction Workers will foster team working and encourage your staff to take responsibility for themselves and their colleagues.

Assessment:

  1. Individuals are assessed via a multi-choice test/short answers test.
  2. The duration of the test will be for one hour.
  3. A practical assessment.

On successful completion of the exam, delegates will receive an IOSH certificate.
