CSR Four-Day Site Supervisors Course

This supervisor course is designed to give construction site supervisors an understanding of their roles and responsibilities within Health and Safety to ensure a safe site. All delegates must complete the CSR Four-Day Site Supervisors course and a CITB Health, Safety & Environmental Touch Screen Test for supervisors, which is a 50-minute computer-based test.

Delegates are required to hold or are working towards an NVQ Level 3 or Level 4 in Construction Site Supervision.

Course Duration: Four days

There are several modules covered in the CSR Four-Day Site Supervisor course including:

  • Accident Reporting
  • CDM Regulations
  • Fire
  • COSHH
  • Noise
  • PPE
  • Safety with Tools and Equipment
  • Health and Safety Legislation
  • Manual Handling
  • Working at Height
  • Scaffold and Ladder Safety
  • Safety in Excavations and Confined Spaces
  • Electricity
  • PUWER
  • LOLER
  • Tool Box Talks

Upon completion of the training, the delegates will be registered with the Construction Federation and will obtain a CSR Gold Supervisor card.

*For those delegates who do not have experience (i.e. undergraduates and graduates in the construction industry), they will be issued a Trainee Supervisors Card (RED) on the grounds that they enrol in the CSR One Day Health and Safety Training course and provide further evidence which can be found on the CEFNI website.

This card type will then be upgraded when they have the appropriate experience and supporting evidence set out by CEFNI.

*For those delegates who are experienced but do not hold an NVQ Level 3 or Level 4 in Construction Site Supervision, they will be issued an Experienced Supervisor Card (RED), on the grounds that they meet the following criteria, which can be found here.
